The challenge
A 3PL delivering wholesale foodservice orders to restaurants was running 50 to 150 stops a day on email, text messages, and PDF purchase orders — every one in a different format. Pickers worked off paper. Customers phoned in to ask "where's my order?" And every week, someone reconciled distributor settlements by hand in a spreadsheet. There was no single source of truth between the moment an order arrived and the moment the money settled.
What we built
Drofilla replaced the whole patchwork with one system: AI reads the incoming order, the warehouse coordinates the pick in real time, drivers capture proof, customers watch it happen live, and settlements reconcile themselves. Three surfaces, one source of truth.
The dispatch command center — every order, picker, route, and dollar on one screen, updating in real time.
iOS and Android app for the field: assignments, swarm picking, scanning, and proof of delivery.
Branded tracking pages and SMS updates, so customers follow their order instead of calling to ask.
What makes it different
Anyone can build a form and a map. These are the parts that were genuinely hard — and are the reason it holds up under a real operation.
Multiple pickers attack the same order in parallel, with dry, frozen, and cold zones kept in sync over WebSockets. No collisions, no double-picks.
45 → 15 min fulfillment
Customers text in plain language — "where's my order?", "add 2 limes" — and get policy-aware answers with live tracking links in seconds. Retrieval-grounded, so it stays accurate.
160+ languages auto-detected
Upload any settlement report; the AI maps the fields, matches every order, and flags discrepancies. A weekly spreadsheet ordeal became a single click.
$14M+ settled automatically
An order hits the inbox — even a 38-line wholesale PO — and the AI parses items, customer, address, and delivery window, then creates it instantly on the dashboard.
PO → live order in seconds
From email to doorstep
Every order follows the same path — your customer sees it, your pickers live it, dispatch owns it, and the money closes the loop.

Under the hood
Real-time coordination runs over WebSockets. A polyglot backend on multiple databases, containerized and orchestrated, keeps it fast and resilient under real load.
The outcome
Drofilla isn't a case study we dressed up — it's a live business we run, and a growth engine for the operators on it. One operator scaled from 7 to 11 locations with us, doubling their order volume along the way. It's the proof behind everything else Thurix builds.
Live
Running in production across 16 delivery locations, handling 50–150 stops a day.
Trusted by
RD Delivery
Before Drofilla, orders lived in email and spreadsheets. Now one system runs dispatch, picking, tracking, and settlement — and we scaled from 7 to 11 locations without adding chaos.
